Getting Started FAQs

Last Updated January 8, 2019

Publishers might have a hard time remembering all the things that Sovrn can do. Here are some of the most common questions that we get from our publishers and partners.

What is the difference between my Meridian username and screen name?

Your username is what Sovrn uses as your official identifier for all of your account settings, and it is what you use to log in to Sovrn. Usernames are not case sensitive. There is no way to change your username once it has been set up during the sign-up process. Legal characters include A-Z, 0-9, dashes (-), spaces, and underscores ( _ ).

In contrast, your screen name is like a friendly nickname. Your screen name appears on your profile, and at the top your search results window. You can change your screen name as often as you’d like, and it can contain any type of character.

When signing up with Sovrn, do I need to sign a contract?

No, we do not ask our publishers to sign a contract. However, we do require publishers to accept Standard Terms and Conditions, which can be found online here. During the onboarding process, your Sovrn contact will send you a welcome email including our Standard Terms and Conditions and an option to opt-in.

Does Sovrn have a Privacy Policy?

Yes, to view the Sovrn Privacy Policy click here.

What payment options do you offer?

We offer the following payment options for publishers through Meridian: ACH, eCheck, local bank transfer, global ACH, paper check, International wire transfer & PayPal. For more info on our payment types, please click here

Are there fees associated with your payment options?

Not at this time. Sovrn is covering the full cost for all of the payment options. This is subject to change in the future.

How do I get paid if I’m not a US citizen?

It’s simple! When setting up your payment information in Meridian, users should eCheck in the local currency payment option and choose one of the following: International wire transfer or PayPal.
